Our Task Forces were created for the 3% of our fighting forces who shoulder the heaviest burden: Special Operations Forces. This small, elite group of fighters is constantly deployed to the front lines of our nation’s defense. Our active-duty programs are built to help them decompress, reconnect, and experience the very freedoms they fight to protect.

WHAT WE DO AND WHY IT MATTERS

Over 45,000 nonprofits support America’s veterans - but far fewer focus on those still on the front lines. Active-duty Special Operations Forces (SOF) make up just 3% of the U.S. Armed Forces, yet they have endured more than half of all combat casualties in recent years.

Big Sky Bravery was built to support the active-duty SOF community. These elite warfighters shoulder the heaviest operational and personal demands in defense of our great nation. Recognizing the toll that continuous deployments and high-risk missions can take, we provide world-class, all-expense-paid programs in Montana designed to give these recipients the space to decompress, reset, and regain what prolonged service has taken.
