Family Task Force 51

A note from the family.

“Our time in Montana was life-changing. No doubt that’s what everyone says, but it's true. We laughed, we cried, we bonded. Despite being in one of the most beautiful places in the world, we even (finally) had time to play a board game together. The grind of being an Army family meant that we were frequently in different places, moving and operating with one less person at the table. Retirement helps, but the pace of life never seems to slow. Being given this gift of decompression, this gift of time, this gift of permission to focus on US…it was the best thing we could have received. Add to that world-class accommodations, incredible views, treacherous drives, facing our fears, wildlife encounters, delicious food, and falling in love with the Gallatin River, and that’s the recipe for a once-in-a-lifetime, core-memory-building FTF!! We loved every second, and we couldn’t be more thankful to Big Sky Bravery and all of the donors that made this trip possible for us. Our family became wild in Montana, and it will always be part of our story, with gratitude and love always.”
