Bella Setzer
Development Manager
Bella brings a deep commitment to community and relationships. Raised in Wisconsin in close-knit communities, she learned early that the people you surround yourself with and the places you belong to shape who you become. That belief has followed her ever since, and it continues to guide the way she shows up for others.
She graduated from Montana State University with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and a minor in Entrepreneurship. After working on several nonprofit projects in college, Bella discovered a passion for donor relations and community engagement, developing a strong conviction that meaningful missions depend on thoughtful, committed people to help them thrive. She officially joined Big Sky Bravery in February 2024 through a volunteer recommendation.
In her role, Bella focuses on building trust and strengthening relationships with those who stand alongside the Special Operations Forces community and their families. She ensures supporters feel meaningfully connected to the work and confident in the mission they help carry forward.
The outdoors has always played a central role in Bella’s life. Through competitive horseback riding and a lifelong involvement in powersports, she developed an appreciation for experiences that challenge comfort zones and build confidence and resilience. Working at Big Sky Bravery has deepened her understanding of how powerful those experiences can be when shared with others.
