Family Task Force 7

BIG SKY, MONTANA

“My husband and I have each been on a Task Force and enjoyed the breath-taking beauty of Big Sky, as well as the healing power of being outside all day and sharing stories by the fire at night. We were so overwhelmed with gratitude to have been given the opportunity to be able to share this with our children on a Family Task Force. 

As a military family, much of the precious time we have off is spent visiting loved ones in other states. This was the first time since our daughter was born (she is 5) that we were able to take time to rest, reset and relax together without the necessity of visiting extended family. 

Our family was able to enjoy a once in a lifetime experience, that without Big Sky Bravery would have not been possible. Our children learned how to ski, we spent quality time together as a family, and celebrated our wedding anniversary in a magical way. We were given the chance to make memories together without having to plan or worry about what came next. 

Our children loved every moment of skiing down runs on the mountain, even in -19 degrees. By the time we left, they were naming the runs on the mountain that were their favorite. These are the memories we hope that they keep with them and cherish as they grow older. Big Sky Bravery, you have been such a wonderful part of our lives, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
