“This trip was EPIC. Getting to spend some much-needed time just as a family while also spending it with our best friends was the absolute most fun. The kids stayed up way too late playing games together, giggling, and scaring each other half the night. Hearing their laughter is medicine in itself. We are so thankful for all the fun activities y’all planned. Making sure we spent one-on-one time with each of our kids was something super important to us on this trip, and we got to do that multiple times. Getting to have those fun conversations that don’t always happen in busy day-to-day life, giving them our undivided attention, and getting to experience things together as a family that they otherwise wouldn’t get to was so special.
We made memories we will cherish forever.
It sometimes feels like we are in that crazy, busy season of life. Our kids are growing so fast right before our eyes. This trip was an opportunity to slow down, turn our phones off, step away from work and responsibility, recharge, reconnect, and lock in on some family time.
Our cups are full, and so are our hearts.
